Noah Gladstone is one of Los Angeles’s top music contractors, with over 21 years of experience in the music industry ranging from music production, orchestra engagement and musician contracting, union relations with both AFM (American Federation of Musicians) and SAG-AFTRA as well as international scoring resources, live performances for both stadium shows and sync to picture events. His unique skill set, with experience on all sides of the glass, make him a true asset for any production whether it be major motion picture, traditional and steaming television, concert films, studio albums, touring shows, award show, the newest videogames or Web3 original content.
Noah attended the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music for both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees under scholarship for trombone performance with emphasis on historical performance. It was in conjunction with the USC School of Cinematic Arts and the film scoring department that he began helping with the coordination of student composers film projects. This quickly evolved into contracting full budget feature films, engaging musicians and orchestras, booking scoring stages and concert halls, hiring audio engineers, negotiating with labor unions, assembling and leading music production teams, constructing and managing budgets and overseeing the entire process of film and music scoring from start to delivery.
In 2011 he co-founded Hollywood Scoring, a full end-to-end music production company providing musical services to global entertainment companies running the full gamut of projects on various media platforms. In 2012 Noah Gladstone was instrumental in lobbying for a fair videogame agreement with the AFM that is industry friendly, crafting and presenting the language that would become the basis for the current videogame agreement used today.
At Hollywood Scoring, he oversees a stable of composers, orchestrators, engineers, and musicians. In 2019, Hollywood Scoring opened a scoring studio and recording facility in Atwater Village California, which is available to his clients. The studio expanded in 2024 with a newer large recording space, Studio B, and can fit up to 60 musicians and is one of the only scoring facilities in Los Angeles capable of concurrent tracking of mixed ensembles in both studio A and B in isolation (i.e. striping live at the same time). It is also available for pre-production rehearsals and we have been known to host an epic party from time to time.
He has provided musicians and musical services for companies such as: Riot Games, Rockstar Games, Netflix, Paramount Productions, Neon Rated, Radical Media, The Walt Disney Company, 20th Century Fox Television, Apple, Amazon MGM Studios, Macys, NBC-Universal, ABC Television, Hulu, Microsoft, Activision Blizzard, Tencent Entertainment, Sony Interactive, Netease Games, MiHoYo-Genshin Impact, G2 esports, National Public Radio, Adult Swim, Comedy Central, Illumination Entertainment and many others.
He has contracted musicians for and collaborated with popular artists including Charlie Puth, Jon Batiste, Aerosmith, Laufey, Madlib, Gwen Stefani, Kali Uchis, Don Toliver, Justice, Melanie Martinez, Marina and the Diamonds, Laila!, Conan Gray, Finneas, Ashe, Steve Hackman, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson, Jules Buckley, Pete Tong, 2wei, Seth Rogen, Sigur Rós, and Michael Kiwanuka, among others.
He has also produced and provided musicians for live shows at major venues and events including the Hollywood Bowl, Greek Theatre, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Ford Amphitheatre, Shrine Auditorium, Crypto.com Arena (formerly Staples Center), Dolby Theatre, Ahmanson Theatre, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival, and Peacock Theater, among others.
Most recently he provided scoring support for the Emmy, Grammy and Annie winning television series Arcane Season 1 and 2 and ABC’s Will Trent Seasons 1-4 with composer Joe Wong and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
As a producer, he collaborated with Potion Projects and the eSports World cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to craft the 2025 Opening Ceremony Music featuring Post Malone, Alesso, Dino from Seventeen, Telle Smith from The Word Alive, Duckwrth and cellist Tina Guo.
He lives in Glendale California with his wife, daughter, dog and cat. He is an avid collector of musical instruments, a part-time bowler, a terrible golfer, a vintage pinball aficionado and diehard audiophile.
